Our volunteers give hundreds of hours each month, providing support that allows Gift of Life Transplant House to serve over 4,100 transplant patients and caregivers each year. We could not do it without your help!

Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant
If you’re detail-oriented and take pride in
cleanliness, this volunteer role is for you. Great
housekeepers are the backbone of our organization.
Our housekeeping team helps keep a safe, sanitized
home for guests during their transplant journey.
Responsibilities:
- Support housekeepers with general cleaning tasks throughout the house
- Help clean and disinfect guest rooms
- Assist with laundry; including washing, folding, and organizing
Requirements:
- Able to lift 75+ pounds
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Physically mobile, including bending, reaching, and lifting
- Comfortable using cleaning chemicals
- Available to commit at least 4 hours per week
Kitchen Manager
There is nothing better than an organized kitchen! Are you passionate about keeping kitchens tidy and well-stocked? Join us as a Kitchen manager and help us maintain efficient and organized kitchen spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Organize kitchen utensils, appliances, and supplies
- Keep track of inventory and restock items
- Ensure kitchen is in good condition
Requirements:
- Passion for organization and kitchen management
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Available to commit at least 4 hours every week
Seasonal Decorator
Are you full of holiday spirit? Join us as a Seasonal Decorator and help us change out decorations throughout the year to create a festive and welcoming environment for our guests!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with decorating our houses for various seasons and holidays, including but not limited to Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and other seasonal events
- Help plan and coordinate decoration themes
- Set up and take down decorations in a timely manner
- Store decorations properly when not in use
- Ensure that decorations are in good condition
Requirements:
- Creativity and a passion for seasonal decorating
- Ability to work well in a team
- Physical ability to lift and move decorations
- Attention to detail
- Open schedule, but needs to be done in a timely manner (typically a month prior to holidays)
